What is better than a day out for fishing? ….. Going out for a second day ; -)

My buddy, Philipp is joining me today. If you have not known already, he is called exactly like me. Same name, same ideas, same stupid ;) Nevertheless we wanted to try something now on the river danube and parts of its branches. The temperature dropped again to -5 to -7 degrees and the snow fall turned the landscape into a wonderful snow covered winter scenery.

As you can guess it, we didn’t caught anything but it was so nice from the scenery that I can’t resist of showing you this misery. It was cold as ice, with a cold wind blowing. We tried everything that was possible to get a bite but in the end we enjoyed more a day out in the nature than the hectic for catching a pike.

Only the stupid and the poor are freezing

What a great ending for a great year.

This is my last post so far for this year and I wish you a happy new year and a lot of heavy fishes in 2015
